Us for Paree

I NOTIFIED the manager to-day;
We'll go to dear old Paree for a while
And then come back and show these yaps some style
And dim the lights along the Great White Way.
I wonder what his Ma will have to say?
She may as well cheer up and learn to smile;
I'm not so worse, although she thinks I'm vile
And not fit for her darling--but nay, nay.

My little old eighteen per week, good-by;
The upper berth that once was dear to me
From this time on I'll cease to occupy;
Look in the morning papers and you'll see
The story and my pictures.--Honest I
Would like to yell, I feel so full of glee.
