Oh, Joy! Oh, Joy!

OH, joy! Oh, joy! The story wasn't true;
The rubber nipple trust is going yet--
It's all the candy--and to-day we met;
I just got busy handin' him a few
When he explained that he'd been sick, I knew
There wan't any cause for me to fret,
Although I was a little bit upset
And shy on Ha-Ha's for a day or two.

He's asked me out to dine with him to-night--
And I ain't got no chaperone. Oh, gee,
I guess that's pretty bad! We might invite
The prima donna, she's so fond of me;
Once more the future's lookin' rather bright,
Again my gentle breast is full of glee.
