Her Finish

THE prima donna snubbed me yesterday
When her and me met in the street, the cat!
Law, but she's gettin' big and coarse and fat.
She seen me nod, but turned her face away--
If it was mine, I'd hide it some-how, say,
But she'd be crazy if you told her that!
It's her that's made the new piece fall so flat.
She ain't got any license to get gay.

When Willie wins me for his own at last
I'll have him buy this show and feature me,
And I'll turn up my nose when she goes past,
And show her clothes she'll be surprised to see;
She'll have when her name's printed in the cast,
A chance to see how little type can be.
